Have a RR with a couple if issues that were not there last time playing it. First issue is when the game boots up , the single door assembly will cycle open and close about 6 times even before a game is started. No error messages. Not sure if there is a switch in there for adjustment or not.
Second issue is the shaker motor does not sound good and is not spinning very fast. Tried adjusting in the settings and did not make much difference. Pulled the wiring connector off , no signs of damage, good pin fit. Took the cover off and the motor spins freely when manually turned. It was working as designed last time played.

There is a micro switch sticking up through the castle playfield right behind the single door. See if it is binding or sticking down in the slot it goes up and down in, making the game think there is a ball there.

Maybe try a drop of oil on each end of the motor where the shaft goes in. See if it improves.

On the shaker make sure Both setscrews locking the eccentric weights are tight. Could possibly be spinning on the shaft.

Well went back and did find the switch lever was bent and contacting the side of the opening. Massaged the wire to clear and that problem is now rectified. Thanks Lloyd.
Shaker motor still not right. Yelobird, you might be right. You can hear what sounds like a dry bushing noise when the motor first energizes and then after it has cycled awhile, it gets back to normal. I will check that tomorrow.
