Quoted from jjsrt8:

So to the people getting hobbit that have paid what they'll have to wait longer now

No, Hobbit is coming out on time according to the license agreements.

No sense having the factory set idle waiting for Hobbit to start.

Not to mention they can run two different games at the same time down the assembly line.

So...this means I won't see my Hobbit LE until 2016?

No.

Why would you think that ?

Hobbit will be out on time per the license agreement.

You want the factory empty until it goes on line ?

And there can be two different games on the assembly line.

This has been answered before.

Quoted from heni1977:

As long as us hard workers for low pay can afford one. It would take 5 yrs of bologna sandwiches for me. Guess i will just stick to buying old and fixing them up. Hell even those i cant afford.

Happens in a lot of hobbies.

In the early 1980's I collected German tin toys. As they got popular you went from having a nice collection to hoping you could afford one piece.

I built a large train collection at one point on mostly my labor, painting them for others.

Get a pin, fix it up, sell for more, wash - rinse - repeat. Build yourself a nice pin collection. You don't need all NIB games to enjoy pinball. And if your wishes are bigger than your budget, get creative.

Remember when you could get a NIB game for under $4k.

WOW. You must be really old.

I need my pinball machines to appreciate in value if I am to buy nib in the future.

Wow, big mistake there. nice if it happens, but no guarantee it will.

what's my mistake Lloyd?

Where you posted this "I need my pinball machines to appreciate in value if I am to buy nib in the future. "

Maybe I worded it poorly. And I am sorry if I did.

But there is no guarantee pins will appreciate in value. When you think of all the pins made for so many years, very few hold or go up in value.

Quoted from musketd:

Also hate to say it but Jack needs to come up with a better price point then 8 or 9k

Why. He sees people trying to sell NIB games here for 14.5K, maybe they should be the ones coming up with a better price point.

Sorry about double post, wasn't meant on purpose.

Quoted from musketd:

I know what you are saying on price; but I sure as hell miss the days where we could all get a NIB pin for 4k.

You remember those days ? One company, struggling to survive.

The influx of new people, and higher prices, has made all of this available.

New companies, new pins, more and more parts.

Your really miss those days ? Because if we were stuck back there, pinball would likely be dead as we know it.

Quoted from CraZ4Pin:

Seriously Lloyd??

Seriously. I'm giving crap to the guy complaining about prices yet he's trying to sell his game for darn near twice what he paid for it.

Quoted from JoeJet:

LOL.. great post. I agree with most of it. The only thing that I think would be frustrating is if you plunked down 8.5K for a "spot", you dont have your game yet, and then this one comes out that you like better. Would have been nice to know you had this option.

You do have the option if you want to pay the difference and wait longer. Contact Jack.

Quoted from JoeJet:

so what is the difference in price?

I have no way of knowing what they paid, that would be between them and Jack.

The difference would be what they paid and what the new edition costs.

Quoted from CarShark:

I would be surprised to hear that Jersey Jack didn't plan all of this out.

Yeah, he liked all the grief and headaches every inch of the way, just so he could lose 28 pounds with all the work and worry.

Forget the fact that he had a dream and it is now a reality.

Quoted from JoeJet:

I hear you.... not to drag you down too much further.. but take this hypothetical.. Jack was saying that WOZECLE was going for 12K... does that mean they get a refund for the red one?

Well you did succeed in making me wish I stayed out of it and responded to a legitimate question to help someone ( YOU ).
