WOZ 7.5 buffered boards for sale

Added: 2020-03-29 16:25:01 UTC • Ended: May 11th, 2020
Condition: Used, good condition

Price

$ 300

Selling a working set of WOZ 7.5 buffered boards + RGB/GI boards. I upgraded to the 2.0 so some of the cables have been cut per the JJP instructions. I did pull 4 standoffs off 2 of the small GI boards as I needed them for the 2.0 BAG board install. I will include the bundle of uncut cables and screws.

I picked up a WOZ that has original 5V boards and some don't work. May I ask you a few questions?
1.) If the 7.5V buffered boards supposedly solved the issue (or did they?), why spend the $$ to upgrade again to the 2.0 boards?
2.) Having finished the task, any idea why they had you cut wires? Do you have a list of what wires were cut? Is the existing wiring enough to run the length necessary?

I guess I'm looking to repair this game back to functional w/o spending $$$ on a 2.0 set. I'm curious about what's required in terms of workload, will I have to furnish anything myself?

Thanks in advance!
Evan
