Before you install any new software. Plug a memory stick ( I use one with nothing else on it ) into the USB cable by the cash box. Go to Utilities - Settings Back Up - Settings Back Up, the screen tells you what to do.

After you put in the new software, Go to Settings Back Up - Settings Restore, the screen tells you what to do.

Easy, only takes seconds. Restores scores, settings, etc. etc. I don't think it saves an image if you put one in there.
