Quoted from ramsfan:
Oh well, did the whole thing over with a new USB stick, and same issue. It is just not recognized by the machine.
1-usb ports not being recognized by the computer.
for the first one.
Try a complete power fail of the game: turn off the game, unplug it from the wall, try to power up the game (unplugged from the wall). Replug power into the wall, turn on the game, go to test mode install USB drive and see if the USB cable and USB drive are recognized (if the USB drive has a light it will go on and maybe blink a bit). Reboot the game with the usb drive plugged in and it should load the image. Hopefully the image is good on the USB drive (this is where the hashing info is important).
If no lights at all and the USB drive seems dead:
try this second:
The USB cable might be bad or be too loose on one of the ends to read your USB drive. I had to change mine out also.
In the back of the computer inside the cabinet you will find the usb cable connected in the rear right, lower corner of the big silver box.
It looks like a mess to remove the cable but its not too bad, just fish it out from the wire bundle section by section. Make sure you disconnect the correct one. It may be better to start from the front of the game.
If you can, go to Best Buy or any retailer and get another usb cable. Computer repair stores also might still carry these cables.
Try to not pay to much for it. I charge $4.99 for this cable in my store. Maybe 99 cents online.
The type is USB male to female type A or MF-AA. or regular USB male to female (extension cable) 6 foot.
Lastly (or maybe firstly) do a reset on the PC. Lloyd or JJP support will guide you through this its easy.
If all of this fails you will need support from JJP. Call them directly and tell them what steps you took already.
