What's the street price on a RR, are people paying full MSRP for them? Also didn't realize the $9000 edition of a game didn't include all the bell and whistles with the glass and shaker, but really at only $9000 how could they afford to.

As someone who wants a WoZ this is a bummer $10k by Christmas I guess.

Quoted from rcbrown316:

using that math and mindset these should be worth 18,500 NIB in three years. should raise an eyebrow with the "pinball as an investment" naysayers...

$18000 NIB pinball, that sounds familiar but my memory is fuzzy.

Really?? Judging by the newer ones I've played, they are getting cheaper and cheaper feeling.

Quoted from SuperPinball:

I'm curious if the RR edition is actually better than EC edition given that it is 2015 vs 2013 and the pin is heavily reliant on technology. They must have ironed out any kinks in the system and are adding invisiglass and a shaker motor. Based on that, $500 more is justifiable.

ECLE had the invisiglass standard. Now, at $9500, RR has it standard. Shaker was already standard on both. The main WOZ kinks seem to be the 5V light boards and bad run of playfields, which would be fixed on any new WOZ. ECLE regardless of when you bought it was a better value than the RR. The main perk of Ruby Red WOZ is that you can buy it and then get it without waiting years!

HobbitLE Price increase!
from 7500 to 9500€
Thanks, but no thanks! Cancelled my pre-order!

Did it?

Edit: If it's for Europeans only, then they can probably bear it. With the NIB and used prices I see for some games, I figure only the highest Saudi princes can afford pinball abroad.
