    That is pretty incredible.

    wow what an engineering masterpiece

That's the coolest thing Ive seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing.

Love how the guy is getting really into it.

Maybe Stern can diversify into instruments - though Im not sure many people could afford one.

    That's nuts!

    Fan-tas-tic!

Sweet. All needs now is a hottie to crank it.

Literally jaw-dropped when I saw that earlier this morning. If you look at his other videos it seems he built the whole thing from scratch himself. I can't even imagine the amount of time that took....

    pretty cool!

I'd like to hang out in this guys shop for a few days. =)

    Here he is building it:

Looks great. Doubt that really makes that sound. At least two of the xylophone keys are off their pegs. Great visuals though

That was awesome, some people have way too much time and skills...

So very cool. My son wants one, as he is starting to get into making music.

And you, the good dad you are, began building it right away

What a very very cool machine, thanks for posting!

Do you have 2000 spare pinballs?

    #20 8 years ago

This has gotten a lot of talk on a few rolling ball sculpture groups I am a part of. It really is a great engineering feat!

    #21 8 years ago

I like how they said it used "marbles".

Some people suggest swapping balls out every month, so someone must.

Hey John! Weather starting to get like Spring over here! Any new high scores on the TAF?

Just finished up Season #5 of a Classic Pinball League. 5 private homes and access to over 40 different titles from Bally, Stern and Gottlieb all from the mid 70's to early 80's.

The finals were hosted at my place. We warred head to head best 2 out of 3 double elimination on these titles:

    Stargazer
    ALI
    Quicksilver
    Stars
    EBD
    Flash Gordon
    Bow and Arrow
Williams Defender (rare pin in nicely restored shape brought by one of our league members)

I’ve been following the rebuild for the last couple years, and it’s starting to get close to Complete. His plan is to tour the world and do shows with it.
