Hang in there. I'll take a Stargazer playfield.

Check but I’m in for a Star Gazer playfield long ago. Thanks

I gotta ask this question. The Star Gazer playfields you make are great, but the basic blue color of the play field is much lighter than the original. Not just a shade, a much lighter shade and really looks like a knock off. Why would you not match the blue tone better. You keep making more of these but the basic color is way off? No offense, I know no one else ever made these. I would not buy one or a game that has one in it. Sorry, just looking for closer match to original, which I would think wouldn't be a big problem for digital print.

I was not knocking you, but lenses have nothing to do with this, and are a long second in desirable playfield qualities. It should be pretty easy to change the base color of the playfield. Thats why I paid not much more to restore versus buying a playfield with the base color way off. If CPR produced a glass or playfield with the base color that far off people on here would crucify them.

I guess you think it’s pretty close to original

I respect what you do and I’m sure you have many others who feel the same. I was only asking why not make the color more like “the dark blue version”, which was the same on all the original playfields. So you have not answered the original question as to why this can’t be done.

Quoted from Chalkey:

He answered you several times, you're just being a donkey. Give it a rest.

Maybe you should mind your own business.

Clearly you have the comprehension issues. You can’t seem to comprehend that John did not answer my question as to why he wouldn’t consider a better color match. He only kept saying that he would not do it, never said “why”. Do you get it? Now get lost.

Too funny. Different versions? They must have made 5000 of them to have different versions out there. That was a bs answer. If you like it buy it. No problem.

I don’t think with so few made, the playfields varied that much. The originals I’ve come across that were lighter shades were pretty faded.

I wish my plastics matched better but it is what it is.

Case in point. The original blue color was pretty close to the shade on the plastics. I’m not an artist or printing expert, so with digital printing is changing a base color to a darker shade not doable?

That was my initial question.
