It only matters if it's worth it to you, not what anyone else thinks. Personally I wouldn't pay for an autograph just on principle, if the artist doesn't care enough for their fans to sign autographs for free then screw 'em. I like KISS but the way Gene Simmons treats his fans is appaling.

LOL in the second photo Gene looks like he's about to come after you for taking a picture of him without paying.
If you could get the translite signed by all four of the original members then it would definitely increase the value of the pin, but having just one member sign it isn't going to do much. It's funny how many people like to put down KISS, and yet they continue to pick up new fans who keep their bank accounts nice and fat.
