I'm rebuilding the pops on a Williams Paddock. AC pops. I usually always change out these springs when I rebuild pops, but I noticed a significant difference this time around with the springs. The spring on the left is the original. It is smaller and has a lot less resistance than the PBR replacement spring (on the right), which is obviously longer and has much more resistance.

Since these are AC pops, I'm thinking that I should stick with the original springs. Opinions, input? Thanks.

Quoted from zacaj:

A weaker spring will result in stronger pops but less action as the pops take longer to return before being able to fire again

This is exactly what I was concerned about. I already did one with the old spring and noticed how loose and jiggly it was at rest. Manually pressing the ring down, it is slow and sluggish on return. I'll go with the new springs. Thank you all for your input.
