If you're contemplating buying this for $2,200 then I would suggest spending $3,000 - $4,000 and get one that's in really nice shape. All the work will be done and you'll simply get to enjoy it. Tough call though as these are getting harder and harder to find. That's why the price is where it's at for Centaur. Same goes for Fathom. Simply two of Bally's best and most collectable from the early 80s.
If you do decide to buy it and want a nice original playfield, let me know. I found an NOS playfield last year and will be selling the original playfield after doing a swap. May not be until this winter though.
