Can you do anything about the wrinkling, to prevent it? Or over time just gonna happen?
Quoted from thepinballworks:Just go for it and doin't look back and have fun with it.
Did, won't, will.

It seems so as there is a thread that started today on the topic that seems to have a lot of good info in it.

if you use those leg protectors they can minimize it. Wrinkling is caused from putting the legs on and leaving room for the game to shift down more. If you put the bolts on loose. Then let the game drop,on the bolts, then tighten, the legs won't be able to dig in, and pushup wards, causing wrinkles. Only certain games had the cheap decals that wrinkle badly. I think Shadow was the first to experiment with it. The screened cabs won't do it, and TOM and CV won't either. Those 2 are completely different process than any of the other games. Hence why they have a strong formica look to them (they are not formica, just look like it). Hence why CV and TOM look like complete shit if redecalled.

Cap't:
Sounds like a good tip to avoid the issue to tighten the legs only when the weight of the game is as low as possible. Thanks.
The leg protectors are good to help prevent the issue, but it would be good if someone made an extended set that would protect from new damage and cover existing damage.
No problem with my Shadow, but the corners of my CV do have some bunching, but no torn decals. The head on the CV was redecaled, and there is a noticeable difference for sure as you say. One of the games in my previous collection had a decal issue at the legs; I think it was Champion Pub.
