Would you buy a woodrail remake?
In this age of remakes, having bought one myself, I would love the chance to have a classic from the 40s or 50s. It would be great to buy a new "old" daisy mae or sittn pretty. Ive got a bunch of older titles on my wish list that I'll probably never have a chance to see in person more than once or twice at a museum or show let alone purchase. Anyone else? Thoughts? Titles?

Nah. I'd rather restore the 1957 Gottlieb Ace High project game I already own.

I used to love woodrails (owned 13 at one point), but one would be enough now. I've moved on to newer games.

Fascinating question! And the answer is no.

If it was a NIB Diamond Lil and was fully electromechanical with no design updates... Yeah, I might consider it.

I joked on a different topic that Chicago Gaming should do a Rockola Army Navy remake. I'd seriously buy that one.

Because it is cheaper and more fun finding a beautiful original that with a bit of tuning plays as good as the day it was made.

Diamond Lil is a great player and there are examples out there that are in better condition that a lot of modern games!

Originals in amazing condition are available for well under $2K because no one really wants them.

Not sure what’s stopping you from buying one right now.

If it was exactly as it was the day it was originally released, I’d buy if it was $1,500 or less.
