The whole ''pins are investments'' thing never made sense to me. I'd love to know who and when they came up with this notion. I got into this hobby in 1978 because it is fun and I like mechanical toys. That's it. When I sell them, sure I'd love to make a few bucks but that is not always the case. Enjoy them for what they are, but if you're looking at them as something to put in your portfolio, you're mistaken.
