    Quoted from Tranquilize:

Ugh... Canoe Head ruined that movie. Such a shit actor. Ruined Dracula even more. Having his face on a pin would be worse than staring at Depp on jjp potc.
    Barf burgers.

Dude be honest and tell us how you really feel!

;^)lol totally. must be why he keeps getting main roles. what about wick.. constantine..sucks in those too? and I didn't say I liked canoe..ur assuming he would b focal point he could have a equal part as Morpheus Trinity agent Smith etc. doesn't say anywhere he'd be the focal point. anyways despite ur hate for Keanu it would be a bad ass pin.. barf burgers ? I dunno what to make of that ...

Made by Stern maybe, a fast playing pro might be something I would buy for a while. Not saying JJP wouldn't do a great job and for people who have this theme in their grail realm it would be better for sure but they are real expensive in Canada and I've always preferred a fast playing open concept over clutter and toys, whether it be plastic molds or mechanical. I really wish JJP would do something Sci Fi. I think they would do an amazing job on Alien. Maybe get the go ahead to remake the Heighway version. Such a shame that died on the vine.

The only Stern I have had any quality problems with is Jurassic Park and Stern stepped up and is swapping my pf.
I called them about a year ago with an issue with my AC/DC. Chaz spent prob 20 min with me on the phone and ended up hooking me up with a replacement mpu board for cost. That game is almost 10 years old now and they are still offering support.

How can anyone ever trust JJP enough to buy their pins again?! They might give you a sticker with the same number as someone else!

Good customer service and good quality product are not the same thing. Check out the pf issues thread with thousands of posts. Coil stops? Power switch? Weight? Light tubes? Composite Plumb Bob? Do I really need to continue?

Stern makes great players, but to purposely ignore the cost cutting just shows zealous brand loyalty. I'm about as loyal to brands as I am to political parties. There's just no point.

    Composite Plumb Bob

You prob quit driving when cars came out with plastic bumpers?

If the plastic bumpers fell off the cars when I drove them off the lot like the Plumb Bob fell apart in my hand the first time I touched it (in a $12500 machine), then yeah, I guess I'd quit driving them. You make a good point: Stern's QC is even worse than American car manufacturers. Now that's impressive!

Innovation has to start somewhere. You think in the 90’s WMS/Bally was pumping out games with perfect playfields and no QC or design issues? Ya those guys never did any cost cutting. Lol

if only Adam and Barbara had had metal bumpers on their Volvo.... We’d have never met Beetlejuice!

    #123 11 months ago

That movie gives me flu like symptoms.

If it had Beetlejuice from the Stern show

Are we talking about innovation or cost cutting? Sometimes they mix well, most times not. Here's a list off the top of my head:

    Lockdown latches: upgrade-ish

    Power button: downgrade

    Convenience receptacle: downgrade

    Power supply: downgrade

    CPU board/node boards: downgrade

    Backbox lighting: downgrade

    Knocker: downgrade

Potholes instead of sewers: massive downgrade

Service rails: temporary downgrade until people bitched enough

Leg brackets: temporary downgrade until people bitched enough

If I took the time, I'm sure I could remember a bunch more. Great innovation, right?

Or Stern games before Spike. You're the one that keeps going on and on about B/W and the 90s, not me, bro.
