It really is. At least Last Action Hero's translite, which half of it is Arnold's face, has a lot of other details. DM's has the three actors huge heads, the police car, explosion behind Sly and lightning in the background. Not a lot of redeeming qualities except for Sandy's manly features.

At least the Party Animal translite is well drawn and fun. Let's circle back to how terrible 80's Williams were.

They are right there with all those 70s Gottliebs for sure.
I think Hardbody and Raven are great translights. They look great right next to each other in my collection. And yes, I know they're not for everyone. But, that is alright. They're perfect for me. Now, I will say I hate both the no translight of modern lcd screen pinball, so even the worst is better than none. And I always hated just a big head on a translight, Like demoman. Give me something cool to look at.
So stuff like CSI I think are boring. If I wanted to look at peoples heads I'd talk to real people and not play pinball. I also think Wheel of Fortune while it is a serviceable backglass, it truly is boring. And I think they could have made it more exciting. It just puts me to sleep.

I just scrolled down his list of masterpieces and have to agree. And I thought Morison made some ugly ass ones..

It actually looks really great next to my breakshot... Sadly that machine is going to be broken for a long, long time. I love hte breakshot translite... But, one of the ladies has straight up butterface. I know its actually a hard expression he wanted, but I think softer lines would have worked better for the face. Still a great translite.
And really my space is all but tapped out. Raven and Hardbody play well and are fun games, but they're not great games.
I want a great playing pin for my next beater. An Elivra and the Party Monsters playes great and would look great next to my ladies. Or a Swords of Fury, that always looks great.
But, back to ugly translites...
This isn't any specific game. But, I find when people make the nude mods of them. I find them to not just be tacky. But, also really ugly. I like nudity as much as the next man, but I think that the mods don't look attractive and look worse than the clothing.
I mean do we really need the lady on the Creature Translight nude. Do we need Elvira nude. They're showing enough skin to begin with. To me just the right amount.
