Somehow I forked over the cash for my Shadow and didn't notice, until after I tipped her on her back, that the bottom of the cab was swollen and deformed with moisture damage.
Happy ending: I was so pissed it sat in storage for a year and a half, and by the time I got it out, the concurrent price inflation made it a good deal after all. And in the meantime I had found a fine Shadow empty cab to swap it into for fifty bucks.
