There is a whole thread dedicated to making your own light strips for under $20. They work well if they are your thing.

Clips are just fine...until it twists and shorts across a switch matrix or node board. To the rest of the world, they are lazy hacks. If you want it removable, learn to solder and buy some Molex connectors and a crimper. Some people won't bat an eye at having a $100,000 pinball collection and then scoff at having to spend $50 on tools.

    Quoted from PoMC:

The thing with the dolls is that they look like toys because they are toys. Doesn't look cool or interesting seeing the legs, arms and torso joints on the dolls. They look stiff and out of place standing around the playfield. Not even to mention the fact they are always out of scale to everything else on the playfield. Same size figures everywhere no matter if they are far in the back of the playfield or right up on the slings.

Not to mention, having to look through something that resembles a rummage sale to see the ball on the playfield is highly annoying. I'd rather have a flat printed cheap plastic piece drawn by the original artist than some 3D printed piece that does not match the fidelity of the rest of the features and decorations on the playfield.
