Played both. Don't like them. And I remember the end of ball bonus count on Wizard is S-L-O-W.

My Old Chicago was doing the same thing - slow bonus countdown. I did some web searching & came up with this... & it solved my problem! Weak tension on the bonus unit zero switch was the issue.
"Clean the bonus unit zero switch on the bonus unit under the
playfield. This is easy to find. The switch opens by a nylon post of
the bonus unit when it counts down to zero. It will be closed when the
bonus is at 1000 and above. It needs to be closed and making good
contact during bonus scoring. Crud, corrosion, and loss of tension
will cause this switch to become intermittent due to vibration and
cause changes in tempo. Also, adjust the shorter switch blade to
increase the tension between the closed blades. This solved a
similar problem on my Wizard.
If this doesn’t work clean and adjust the bonus score relay and bonus
zero relay switches. The bonus score relay should hold continuously
through the bonus scoring cycle. If it flutters, that’s when you’ll
see a single scoring instead of a double."
Panthera, the only game I have ever walked away from while the ball was in play. I DON'T REMEMBER HEARING THE BALL DRAIN BEFORE I MADE IT OUT OF THE RESTURAUNT.

It takes at least 50 games to get the greatness of TZ. I bought mine and thought about selling it until I hit about 50- 60 games and it clicked with me. I have had 80 pins in 10 years and there is not a better game than TZ period. It will never leave . Anyone that says it is the worst game ever has not played it enough to appreciate it .

Maybe? but since you ask it is because TZ I have beaten numerous times, TOTAN is the same, GOT is just a boat anchor to play ,the theme also sucks and finally Dr Who because the sound is just absolutely horribly grating.
I am richer in other ways, I don't judge a Man by wealth, obviously you do, thats a shame.

Have you played it? It's a decent machine with a ton of shots. It's not going to be in any "top" lists, but it's far from the bottom. Also remember that this was a contract game. When Dominos pay's the bill, they get to choose the theme.
These best / worst threads are a waste of time.
You might as well have a thread what the best / worst flavor of ice cream is.
These threads are a random assortment of games, you could have a bot construct the whole thread out of random games and random pinball rating lingo and nobody would be the wiser.
TZ always shows up prominently in a best thread and a worst thread so what does that tell you?
I do have a general comment on appreciating pinball games:
It takes a while to warm up to some pinball games. So don't be too hasty to dislike a game, you might cheat yourself that way.
We got a CV and I intensely hated it for a few months and now it's pretty much my favorite.
We also have an Bally Atlantis that is a member of a not-so-highly-regarded series of pins, but when people come over to the house, that's the one everyone plays. It has a pleasing speedy rhythm to it.
So anyway, yes, I learned from these threads that every single pinball ever made is simultaniously the best and worst pin ever. Mucho useful information.
Atlantis is a good game! I think it might have some lopsided scoring issue, but it is a fun game to play.

I'm with you on this one, El Toro is a great game.
I really could not get into Mr & Mrs Pacman. I wanted to, but it just didn't work for me. Road Kings and Harley Davidson are up there also. And this is coming from someone who currently owns Arena, Gold Wings, Motordome, LW3 and Raven among others. I have a full compliment of "crap games" that seem to keep my my friends and I entertained every week...
I'll also second Black Knight being highly overrated. Pharaoh is far better.

Party Zone was an improvement (but very little -- mostly in the then-new DMD).
I have to admit, I've never played it, but from what I've seen I have to say Magic Girl looks to me like the worst machine ever

'Mustang' might be the worst modern (last 5 years) pin. That gap is huge and man is it boring.
Don't remember the name of the pin, but it had a Bunny or a gopher theme, and it was time based. so if you didn't hit your shots quick enough the flippers would die and your ball would drain. F YOU designer. and F the machine you rode in on. give me my quarter back.
'Wild West Rampage' is particularly frustrating and grindy on the digital side of things... as is 'Masters of the force'....
was it perhaps "Goin' Nuts"?

I just played a Doodle Bug. I has this gap between the top of flipper and sling and no in-lanes. This prevents ball cradling. I didn't like it at all! However, I probably just don't know how to play this game. Others say it's possible to control the ball and it's a fun game. Wouldn't mind learning more about this.
