From the same T2 in above post. The game was displaying some strange behavior when ever the drop target was done? The game would start over (not reset). It would randomly add players. It would tilt. Found the problem see photos below....

This game is a non-working Strikes and Spares I picked up out a dirty, I mean dirty commercial garage. It was in the back with a good layer of dirt, grime and untold who knows what. One of the dirtiest games I’ve come across. However I have found that layers of grease and grime have a preserving effect

I’m pretty sure the side bolt at the top of the rails is not used on DMD games. They would interfere with the side hinge when placing the head down.

Not sure what the reasoning was here but seemed to work fine…

The diag switches are run through that connector the op taped into. So yes he/she is Disabling the diag switches specially the enter switch.
