    Quoted from Tallon:

Pretty sure making everyone hungry for Panda is a party foul though

Yeah, I thought those things were endangered.

Looks to be a 6MDM she's working on.

YAnother poster mentioned the possibility that the blonde bombshell was working on a SMDM pin but, IMO, that does not square with the safety glasses.

Pretty sure it is 6M$M. You can see the saucer and its 10K light, and the right spinner and its lights, and the drop targets. All that and the pops are in the right place. The one in the background looks like 6M$M too; you can clearly see the ball saver gate on the right outlane.

I bought a Paragon from Bally's Aladdin's Castle in December 1981. They had it torn down for transport when I got there. The manager and his boss both instructed me to solder the wires for GI and feature lamps directly to the test points when I set it up.

Aladdin's Castle was a great place to buy games - cosmetically they were usually in near-mint condition.

Also, if one slingshot rubber is good, then two must be better—-makes it bionic!

I have seen balls get trapped inside slingshots on games from this era. Two rings seems to prevent that. Only really relevant on a location game, where such an event puts you out of business, but whoever owned it probably got it that way from an operator, and never changed rings or assumed it was normal.

Would it also sap a bit of the energy of the kicker?

Probably, but the difference isn't obvious. I remember seeing double slingshot rings on location pins in my area (Little Rock). At Aladdin's Castle they didn't have them but I recall seeing balls trapped in slingshots there. It's happened on my Paragon at home at least once.

    Quoted from cottonm4:

The movie Unban Cowboy was in theaters in June 1980.
And EBD was on the floor less than a year later in April 1991.
And everybody had their cowboy hats and boots and rode the mechanical bull.

I like a lot of the similar but not copied themes if they're done well. F-14 Tomcat was obviously similar to, but not the same as, Top Gun.

The alien depicted on Bally's Space Invaders pinball is a pretty obvious copy of H.R. Giger's Alien creature from the film. For that reason, plus being slow and boring, I dislike that pin.

Unholy spawn of Xenon and Magnotron.

lol! I do this ALL the time. That stupid little fuse is hard to find and expensive.

Do this and forget that stupid fuse forever.
