Quoted from Travish:At least they're not holding it by the element.

Quoted from cottonm4:Well, the guy had the right idea. Williams did move from using compression springs and replaced them with expansion springs. but I'm not sure on which pins.
I'd like to convert my old pins to expansion springs for more positive action but have not yet figured out a way to do it without it looking like an abortion.
I assume this is your pin. Have you played with the expansion springs as pictured? If so, how does it play?
It's simple, buy the newer rebuild kits (or simply use the spring bracket from some old plungers you replaced), drill a little hole in the EOS bracket if you want it to look super clean or just attached the spring to the EOS screw. Done. Just did it on my Whirlwind. Flippers are so much better.
