Hey OP...you know you have a broke sling plastic there....no way I could pay premium $$$'s with that left sling plastic busted.
Hope you bring her back to it former glory..
How do you restore a playfield like that...do you buy a reproduction or do they make an overlay that you put down and then clear over, or how do you do it? Sorry...novice here.
Quoted from NunjoBiznezz:A little novus 2 will clean that right up.
Novus 3 then Novus 2 come on man what is this your first day?

You would have to buy a replacement play field. Not cheap though, last one I saw was $900, not impossible to find.
Wow -- I would guess never cleaned and on location for the better part of its 23 years. That's crazy...
Quoted from lb1:Nothing NJGecko could not bring back from the dead.
I was thinking little novus, good as new?
It always makes me wonder, how many games have been played on it.
what do you guys think ??maybe10k maybe more??
Quoted from papazit1963:Get your sharpie out...
Don't use sharpie! You really need paint pens for this one.
This why you should always wax the playfield. I have seen an Earthshaker on route with this much wear. Sad, really sad.
Please don't tell me it was you who did this....
I remember that "Wonderland Arcade" in Maine bought a FunHouse at launch. Until they closed, it was one of the best FunHouse machines ever kept on location. Rudy looked brilliant, the displays weren't damaged at all, and it was in just beautiful condition for a game that was 13 years old at the time. The best aspect of it was the play field - no wear at all, it could've been Day 1 Mylar if I don't say so myself! Too bad it had to close.
Little better than the one on Ebay right now . Be fair warned i seen this in person about 6 months ago ,its in a kids arcade in Lake Park Florida . I offered the guy $500 and he basically thought it was worth $2500. It is most beat up Funhouse i have ever seen. Zoom in on the 1 picture he has and will see major playfield wear , cabinet is shit and Rudy kept saying have a hot dog over &over again. If you can get it for some spare parts for your Funhouse ,that is about all its good for . Just thought i would mention about this machine so no one gets burned.

The spare parts cleaned up are worth a lot more but then again, you have to be willing to put in the work to part it.

I've heard stories of some TAF's getting 200,000+ plays,
While it's possible this funhouse is in the 100,000+ range, more than likely someone didn't change the ball out for years. A little pitting to the ball, and it will act like a mini sander.
Funny stuff here and some good ideas too...gonna keep it as a long-term restore project.
If any Playfields in SoCal are available, please PM me. Might take a year or longer to complete, but looking forward to the challenge.
When I showed the Operator the pin, he said "Damn, I must of made a lot of money off that thing!"
