Maybe the most perfect timing purchase I’ve ever made: a fun, working pin that’s never been shopped since assembly in 1975. Perfect for keeping busy during a quarantine. Today, I’m cleaning the bonus ball assembly.
Check this coil stop!! On the right is the stop for the kicker coil which adds the bonus ball. For comparison on the left is the stop of the kicker when bonus is collected. The little “bb” looking thing was inside the coil between the stop and the plunger. It looks as though the little inner piece of metal of the stop fell off at some point and was repeatedly smashed by the plunger until it became spherical. A first for me.
