Not sure what Blitz is, or how mylar would act over a wax... I'd just wax it until you decide what your next move will be. I think it's smart to hold off on a decision for a short while.

Vid is the man, but I disagree with his suggestion on that EM playfield... the paint on there looks unstable in many places... I just wouldn't do that on this game unless you plan on losing a ton of paint once you decide to remove the mylar later on. Besides, I believe you'd get some air bubbling on your mylar application as your playfield isn't exactly flat based on the missing paint I'm seeing in your pix.
