Great idea. If manufacturers simply had to it's not like there's a shortage of licenses available to the genre either. My picks would be 1941, Kelly's Heroes or Saving Private Ryan.

A pure air war game would be cool too with a host of mode options like escorting bombers, dogfights, etc...

    Quoted from jlm33:

But a WW1 pin would make a lot of sense as we are close its 100th anniversary.

Dude, can you imagine how boring the playfield for a WWI pin would be? No ramps, no pops, no slings, no return lanes. Just 2" flippers and one big ball trough right across the middle with a tiny little bridge across to the other side about 1.04 ball widths wide. The good news you get 20 million balls per credit and the game basically only stops once you get bored with how impossible, uninteresting and futile the game is.

    Quoted from Timerider:

Astro's "Black Sheep Squadron" is WWII themed.

Never heard of that pin, cool! I met the guy who shot down Pappy Boyington at a gun show once. He was signing his book, "Bye Bye Blacksheep". Ha. On the back, there was a picture of he and Pappy shaking hands after the war. God, humans are such an odd species.

By the way, cool avatar there man. Saw that movie about 30 times when I was a kid.
