Quoted from akm:There are easy ways to mute the backbox lamp. Takes a minute or two, totally worth it.
Congrats on the purchase by the way, it's a great game. Miss mine, but I had a trade offer I couldn't refuse at the time.
ok...how?
Quoted from akm:Take two sheets of printer paper, wrap them around the bulb and tape them in place. Works like a champ.
I made some before/after photos a few years ago.
ok...will try that...Thanks!
Loving this game btw...75.5 mil is my best so far...on 3 ball. Need to break a hundred!
Well I tried some paper, but it was thin tracing paper. It didn't work. I will try some regular paper next.
Its not the DMD that is reflecting btw, (I have one of those black shield thingies)...Its the reflection of the girl on the trans lite. I can see her perfectly reflected on the glass top while playing...very annoying.
I would love an led option, but I am in Canada. The price would almost triple by the time I added in exchange rate, shipping, duties, brokerage fees, and taxes. Sigh...
Can someone explain for me the "spot the tell" poker corner mode?
I have no idea what to do when in that mode...
Thanks
Quoted from Miknan:I've posted this separate a long time ago but never got much of an answer except try to bend it. My cut the cards gate will accept balls from strange angles and slow tricklers but a perfect shot from the right flipper usually bounces out. Perfect shot from the left will go in. The gate slides slightly right and left easily and looks off center. Is that why the a good shot from the flipper comes out?
I have the same issue sometimes...it sucks to make a perfect shot for the extra ball and get rejected, then a drain!
will watch this thread for a solution.
Quoted from djoverpour:Same, not a big fan. When I think WPT, I think poker chip/casino colors. Reds, blues, and whites. There really isnt much yellow elsewhere on the game to match with.
what?
The whole center of the play field is yellow!
Not saying I like the yellow rubbers (I don't) but I see where the OP got the inspiration...from all that yellow!
