Just picked up a WCS, pretty sure it got extremely little use - in putting it through the paces a few bugs have developed.

Lately, this small rod from the goalie plunger upkick came flying out. I blindly wedged it back in, but indeed it flew out again after about 10 uses.

In looking at the manual, I cannot determine if there is a proper way for it to be inserted, or if it is broken. You can kind of see from the picture that the slotted end is worn down on a slant. In the manual, I've highlighted the piece I think this is. But it is not labeled as an individual part.

Ahh. It's clear now. The part that needs to be replaced is (7). http://www.marcospecialties.com/product.asp?ic=A-17767. The answer always appears so obvious after you bounce it off someone else.
