Quoted from jeffsgames:I finally beat Germany! What a rush. I love that mode!
Hey over Thanksgiving I spent some time replacing the plastics and ball, and installing an LED kit from pinballbulbs.com. The kit came with a few add-on kits for spots and strip lighting too. I really like how it looked but recently taped over a few of the LEDs on the backbox strip because it just seemed a bit too bright back there.
Here are some pics before I taped the strip in the back. Have to get a current pic once I am happy with how much I'm cutting back on that strip.
I also experimented with clear flippers and super bands. I like how they look but I think I'm going to get translucent red super bands instead. I think it will look better and easier to see.
FYI I bought the ball from Illinois Pinball. They didn't have it on their site but I called and got one no problem. I think they have a small number of them. I originally bought one from Marco the week of Expo, but when I got it in the mail the paint was peeling off. They were down to a few bad ones. They took it back no problem, and I think they pulled the rest out of inventory because the last few they had were bad. They have another order placed for them but didn't say when they would have them restocked.100_4042.JPG 214 KB

Your game looks beautiful. Nice job with the LEDs.
I wish I would have seen this earlier. Marco has this ramp in stock for $60.

I agree. Don't waste your money when one for almost 10 times less is available. Who cares about the neg feedback. I know you feel bad for the seller but he can certainly get a second chance offer (unless he had someone bidding up) or relist it.
Quoted from Pacer:generally like this..

It's hard to see the whole plastic in the image. So does the long edge travel over the ramp edge?
Quoted from RDReynolds:Just took a quick pic with the glass on, so a ramp is in the way, but hopefully this helps.

That's great thanks.
The metal that is angled from the ramp towards the ball that is near the plastic is holding it up. Not sure if I need to bend if out more. The plastic wasn't originally on my game so I'm having a bitch of a time.
This is where I bought mine.

Quoted from MK6PIN:Excellent!!!....checking to make sure I don't need anything else from them, and ordering tonight....thanks!!!!...mark
No problem. I ended up buying the new left ramp they had for WCS. Mine was up repairable on my game. It turned out really nice. They had all the stickers except for the dangerous play decal which I bought from Marco Specialities. I had to rivet the ramp flap and flashers but was well worth it. Shipping the ramp was expensive but I wanted to enjoy the game and it was a small price to play to have it playing well.
I did a little DIY tutorial if anyone is interested in making one.

Quoted from Astropin:That is exactly what I did to mine a while back. I used soccer style foos balls from Amazon

Quoted from Dr-pin:So I'm contemplating getting this as a first pin.
The object I'm looking at has some dents. The ball is not spinning, and it's registering goal all the time.
This doesn't seem like two unovercomeable hurdles?
Is there other stuff i should look out for?
Batterydmg? Other usual chinks?
Much appreciating any help/advice.
Ball could be a lose wire, a bad motor, or bad motor controller board
Goal registering is probably a flaky opto switch.
Quoted from rollitover:?:
Is there supposed to be a lock washer and nut on the screw on the back of the goalie.
That is what is on Mine.
