Just picked mine up and joined the club! It’s my first machine and needs a deep cleaning. I’m tearing down the field and I have a question: given that the ramps have wiring through them, I’m assuming that you disconnect the wiring in the back. Is that the correct way to take the ramps out of the game I presume? Forgive me for the ignorant question...

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Not an ignorant question at all. I made a quick youtube video trying to answer your question. WCS is/was my first machine and I'm only a few months ahead of you.
I am assuming you know the following.
1. Unplug the machine
2. You already know how to take out the glass and lift the playfield.
3. Remove the balls before lifting the playfield.
4. Take pictures of all steps for reference
5. Never overtighten metal parts onto plastic parts.
Anyways... here's the 5 minute answer to your question.

Thank you for the reference! Got it all torn down with rubbers replaced, play field cleaned and parts ordered. Is the goalie trough and ball return trough (at the bottom of the machine) the same part?

What size driver do y’all use for the play field posts? See the pic. And what’s the tool actually called? They seem to be rounded?

Any clue why flashers and right playfield general illumination wouldn’t light?

Forgive me for the ignorant question as I’m brand new and this is my first machine I’m trying to fix.

Hey y’all,

Any tips on getting flashers going? I have all the field lights working but no flashers will go. All fuses are good to go and the connector looks good. Bad wire ya reckon?

Edit: I’m a moron and the door wasn’t shut. Will post photos tomorrow when I have her rebuilt

Anyone have any good recommendations on how to drill out rivets on the ramps, ticket takes, and right slight shot plastic? I was gonna get everything replaced or powder coated.

Quick troubleshooting questions.

My kick out on the top is firing but doesn’t retract. Anyone have experience with this?

Can anyone take a photo of their diverter arm assembly underneath the game? I’m having to redo mine and it’s a total pain!

My WCS gate in the back isn’t stopping the ball. What is the inactivated position supposed to do? After one orbit does it stop the ball? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Quoted from cbdarden:

There are two springs on the mech back there. One (or both) are probably broken.

Under the table or on the mech on the Playfield itself?

I appreciate your help

Rules question: I believe my actuator gate in the loop on the right side of the game needs adjusting.

When is the ball supposed to drop to the pops and when is it to make the full loop?

Finally won the World Cup! Took me over a year and a half but I did it. Such a thrilling game win those jackpots and goals are getting called out.

I replaced my striker hole plastic and decal. Where does the wire feed under the playfield? I forget
