I played this game for the first time at an expo recently and man it was a blast! I couldn't get off it. I have to have one now. Is it a bad thing to want WCS this much?

I just picked up a WCS last weekend. It is super filthy. The previous owner owned it for 10 years and never cleaned it once I'm going to do a full strip down, cleaning, clear coat and shop job. Any tips or tweaks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Quoted from LoserKid_Pinball:Hey guys. I got a new soccer ball for my WCS94. It's starting to get a racing stripe at the base of it. What do you guys recommend to clean the soccer ball?
I highly recommend this product!
Quoted from whoknowsgoi:what did you do with the riveted parts when you shopped out the plastics...having that issue now
I just bought a $20 riveter at the hardware store.
Quoted from Boiler415:I converted an arbor press to a rivet press. With the pull rivetor you run the risk of cracking the plastics.
This is what I thought but vid said as long as you put a backing washer on, that won't happen. And vid knows his sh!t, so I will take that as the gospel.
Quoted from laprocket:Guys i've bought a new plastic set and there are a couple of pieces I can't figure out. Here is a pic of the plastics. I know where the "header" plastic goes but I have 2 of them and don't know what to do with the second.
Thanks for the helpplastics.JPG (Click image to enlarge)
I think the two little soccer ball ones are key fobs (key chains). The big clear plastic goes above the wireform ramp the ball kicks into after you make a goal.
Ok this may be a stupid question but does WCS have an auto plunger? I made it to the wizard mode (Germany) today and it says you have unlimited balls. So I'm playing and waiting for the balls to come and no unlimited balls? What the heck? Then I notice a ball in the shooter lane, so I plunge it. Then another ball drops instantly in the shooter lane. I was waiting the whole time for the auto plunger to kick in but there doesn't seem to be one in WCS, which is weird because games in that era do have auto plungers. Am I wrong or does WCS not have an auto plunger? It really makes the game less enjoyable having to take my hands off the flippers to plunge the balls.
Quoted from Matt_Rasmussen:I
No auto plunger.
I always thought that was a good thing, you can decide how many balls you want in play at that time. To me it was part of the strategy of the game.
Ok, disappointing. But thank you so much for the confirmation.
Quoted from pinnyheadhead:Swapped out another DMD with WCS and the lines are still showing up. Is a board in WCS going bad? Is this where to go next? Thanks!
Try swapping out the connector with one you know works. I bet it's the culprit.
Quoted from VegasMike:Installed the new carbon fiber Cliffy hole protectors...haven't put them in play yet image.jpg image.jpg
I have an entire set of these coming in the mail, can't wait!
Quoted from bax:louvnj,
That is the plastic I am looking for.
Thank you very much. PM on the way.
You can also buy all of the plastics brand new and not discoloured here

Quoted from ralphwiggum:If anyone else has a spare one of these plastics, I could certainly use one.... Willing to pay a few bucks for one...
Look at my post above.
Quoted from ralphwiggum:I did... I might be missing something?
