Quoted from accidental:

I’m not sure if I’d be allowed to sell them because the decal artwork is probably copyrighted?

If you think it is copyrighted then change the goalie a little. (different hair or uniform). People make alternate translites you could make an alternate goalie.

Quoted from delt31:

so I realized that I was getting multiple lamps lighting up during single lamp test and found the culprit. When I removed the plug from the A-18067 board, everything went back to normal.

Pins 4 & 5 on the connector appear to have a solder bridge between them. I don't think this is correct. Also check the continuity between each pin (not just the solder around it) and the next point of the circuit.

Quoted from DBUM:

Thanks so much good to know! I'll check both out. I have another question. When I run through the flasher tests no flashers come on and same with lamp and flasher test. But when I play a game they function properly. Any ideas?

The coin door has to be closed for the flashers to work.

The sound went out on my WCS today. Any thoughts on where I should start?

Quoted from chuckwurt:

That ramp diverter is finicky for sure. Had to be setup just right to move smoothly.

Make sure you have the correct plunger & connecting Spring. The previous owner jury-rigged the broken spring and it worked but not well. When I replaced the assembly it worked great

Quoted from Mattyk:

Maybe try reseating the ribbon cables?

Thanks. I bought a new set of ribbon cables and after installing the main ribbon cable, the sound is back.

Quoted from misterhare:

Is it more likely that resistance is occurring in the coil /sleeve or in the shaft?

Raise the playfield and activate the coil by hand. What pulls the plunger back out? Operate it three or four times and you should be able to see the problem.

Quoted from Jerickso77:

So I no longer have any audio in my game. When I boot it up it still makes the bong sound so it's not the speakers. Any ideas?

I fixed my sound problem by replacing the ribbon cable. I had to purchase a complete set from Marco. A temporary fix maybe to reseat the ribbon cable several times.

Quoted from SkaterVet:

Considering adding those side blades. How do they look in person? Do they enhance or detract from the game?

I like side blades on my machines. I think they add a lot to the overall looks of the machine. If you buy a set you also need to purchase a Interior Cabinet Game Blade Protector Set which Pinball Life sells for $35. You need the protectors for when you raise & lower the playfield to work on it. Without the protectors you will get small tears in the side blades over time.

Thank you for sharing that planet4! What a cool backstory to someone playing your pinball machine. I love the little stories like that capture how pinball helps us connect with others.

What is the OD of the speaker soccer balls you are making?

These are really bad. Super cheap and crappy. I’d stay away.

Just curious why you feel that way. Is it the thickness of the plastic or something else?
