Joining the club next week and I'm super excited! I've seen in some tournaments where they have the soccer ball spin toward the flippers to make it harder. Is this just an adjustment setting or did they actually reverse the motor somehow?

#6396 3 years ago

What settings do you recommend? Factory? Tournament? Any adjs to make?

#6397 3 years ago

So I assume there should be a swtich in the shooter lane? I was wondering why it would ball search if I was slow to plunge.

Could someone snap a pic of this area by the ball? I don't if these are the wrong posts or what but the plastic that goes there can't lay flat like it should.

Or maybe it's supposed to be angled? Either way I the taller post is still too short to get a hex nut on.
It barely reaches the bottom of the plastic.

That's how mine was but it slid up against the ball and now there is a line on it. Oh well. I did manage to get the hex nut on but really had to bend the plastic and was afraid it would break. Weird design.

#6405 3 years ago

Thanks. You can't see the bend in pictures so I thought it was supposed to be flat somehow.

So my ramp diverter doesn't wan't to stay open. It opens all of the way and then kinda drifts half closed which can block shots. Anyone got any tips on how to fix this?

Quoted from jorro:

Have you checked the spring and arm thats on the coil

Yeah. I don't have any parts but I took it apart and cleaned the plunger and coil sleeve. It didn't help.

#6410 3 years ago

I see. It has the spring that is on the plunger but is missing the one that attaches to the back. Didn't realize there were 2.

This keeps happening and it's driving me crazy! Had to snip off part of the rubber.

Anyone have spare ramps they would sell? Mine have a couple of nasty breaks.

I guess my ramps aren't so bad after all. Lol

Received my Cliffy's and it's going to take a bit of teardown to get them in. Any tips on removing the ramps?

#6541 3 years ago
Quoted from mbelofsky:

I document my refurbishment here and show the order I took my game apart. I did a lot to this game including new ramps, new Cliffy protectors, new plastics, re-plated brass wire parts, etc,

Please ignore the price I'm trying to sell it for. It is not meant to be sold to a Pinsider.

Awesome, thanks!

#6545 3 years ago

Since I'm tearing it down for Cliffy's I might as well install plastic protectors also. Any recommendations?

#6547 3 years ago

Super weird sound issue. Never had any issues in single player but when you play 2 player the sound will completely cut out after the first player's turn. Software bug?

#6567 3 years ago

So I no longer have any audio in my game. When I boot it up it still makes the bong sound so it's not the speakers. Any ideas?

Thought I saw some metal rings that went in the saucer somewhere. Anyone know where to get those? Would be a lot easier to install than a cliffy.

#6621 3 years ago

I like it!

#6639 3 years ago

Anyone else ever buy these? I just received mine and they don't fit. Notches are too close together.

I've got the led color dmd and it's great. You really can't go wrong either way. I personally prefer the led because it looks more like a traditional dmd.

Got a credit dot for switch 71. Anyone know what that is? It certainly doesn't seem to affect gameplay.

#6748 3 years ago

Thanks. Does it even do anything or is it just a sound effect?

#6761 3 years ago

Finally cracked the 4B ceiling.

I've never seen this game call out a combo and I swear I've hit 3 ways a bunch of times. What gives?

LX-2?
