I need help. I have adjusted cleaned and reposition the goal and vuk optos. They will work for a few goals. Then all of a sudden they go out or they get out of alignment. And I start getting free goals and the vuk will start to randomly go off. Any ideas. Is this common issue? Not sure if I need to replace them or what not. Thanks

Anyone have a used plastic laying around. I need the plastic that goes behind the goal and swings under the left ramp. Trying to avoid buying a whole set or paying a stupid amount on ebay. It's the one covered in white tape.

Quoted from Archon9000:

That plastic (and the header plastic near the goal) breaks on every WCS. Your chances of finding a used one intact are slim. Just letting you know... you'll likely have to spring for a new one

Thanks. That guy wants 110 shipped for that one and a few randoms. I can get the whole kit for under 200. Seems like that is the best way to go.

Quoted from Mr_Positive:

Maybe this belongs in a tech thread, but
hoping for a little help here with my flipper.
Left flipper is definitely too weak. Usually cannot make the right ramp and sometimes is very weak. Somewhat erratic behavior.
I’ve shopped both flipper mechs.
I’ve swapped the Fliptronic II board with a known good board.
I’ve swapped the left/right fliptronic opto boards.
Switch tests are fine.
Flipper tests seem ok, but honestly the left hold coil seems weaker than the left, but not sure this matters.
Maybe it’s just a bad coil?
Any help appreciated!

Replaced the end of stroke switch? Sometimes when they are dirty / bad you will lose power. Happened on my lah after southern fried last year. Had to replace one of them. Replaced it and I got my power back

Quoted from RatShack:

You are running the most recent domestic code.
There's a program out there that will patch the game code with the lamp matrix driver code from the WPC-95 games which addresses the inherent LED ghosting issues.

Where can I find this code at?

I bought a set of plastics. While installing them I am having a hard time with the rivets. Is there a special or easy way to do them. I bought the ez sqeeze tool from Marco's and a assortment of rivets but it's a pita to do. Maybe I got the wrong size rivets. These are 1/8 dia. I can easily do pop rivets but they look horrible.

I bought the set from pps. They were good. I see sometimes. Marco's will mark stuff up. I always check other vendors before I buy from them.
