I have a wcs94 that I got and I had to put it together from three boxes of parts and a bare playfield. I have it all put together and the game boots and works. However, none of the solenoids fire, the motors aren't working during gameplay and the general insert lights flicker quickly and are dim. Nothing happens in solenoid test mode it just runs through the test but nothing fires.

The flashers seem to work and the flippers work.

I have verified that all of the fuses are good. Luckily, I have another wcs94 that works here and so I verified that all of the boards are working correctly on that machine. All voltage LED's are lit on the boards.

I have measured voltages to some of the solenoids (knocker and ball trough) and it ranges from 65 to 70vdc. It's not the interlock switch, I have verified that.

Am I looking for a connector at this point? All new ribbon cables and verified their correct position.

Not sure about the dim flashing lights. They have all new Cointaker LED's.

Any direction is much appreciated.

are the solenoids and motors on the same circuit? Why wouldn't the solenoids fire if I was getting the proper voltage to them? Assuming 65-70 vdc is what I am supposed to be getting.

Would I be looking at more of the connections on the board or connections under the playfield?

Thanks for the help Wolf. I got it working. I re-seated the 34 pin connector to the CPU and it all fired up working! Just gotta do some flipper work now. Woohoo!

I agree Wolf but at least I can now see and test every solenoid, lamp etc and have proof now that I put most everything back together properly. I probably spent over 80 hours working on this thing before I even turned it on. Big project and now happy to see it actually working.

Lots of work still ahead.
