    EDIT:
head to http://www.pinballbox.com/ to get the game
    --------

    hello!

I've been working on a pinball game for 2 players head-to-head, and today I got around to try a few different layouts.
I'd like to share and yeah... would love some ideas, suggestions, any and all feedback is welcome!

This is the "woody" table, a home made manual power style table.

note: say this is not a "real" pinball, but a virtual one. I'm posting this here since is my personal work and is pinball, but I'm not sure if is totally fine. If the mods consider this don't belong here, please move the topic to a more suitable section. thanks!

Although it's virtual, I really like this idea. A face-to-face pinball should be pretty basic, and this one, with its retro look, fits well with the concept.

On an electric model, the center of the field must be occupied by bumpers, and the space in front of the goal must be rather clear.
But I think that on a manual model, without any mechanical spring (slingshots / bumpers), it would be necessary to place pins in front of the goal area. Thus giving the ball a bit random trajectory.

you should check out Forceflows game like this, I think it's called WAR (hard to remember played it at pinfest) and is same design pretty much but is a real machine and alot of fun for head to head 2 player action

    Quoted from noflip95:

you mean like obstacles? so the challenge also becomes to take the ball out of your field and survive instead just aiming to kill the opponent?
there will be electric models too, and taking advantage of the virtual quality of it, maybe something else (holo-pinball??).

    checked out war

    good news everyone!

after some magnificent delay... I finally got the first version of my game ready! long story short
you can get it for Android here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BuenaOnda.PinballVersus
get it for PC here: https://pinballbox.itch.io/pinballversus

    and here's a video

now, let me tell you guys about what this is all about!

I decided to go full throttle on this enterprise and created PinballBox - with web and everything http://www.pinballbox.com/
The idea behind PinballBox is to develope a whole serie of games dedicated to our beloved hobby: pinball!
Starting with this head-to-head pinball game for 2 players, planning on some bingo style games too, and of course landing the regular pinballs that we all love ...
And because I want this box to put pandora's one to shame, all games come with an editor, so everyone can have their own take on the pinball makery.

I know, i know... there are already options to create virtual pinballs. But!, that I know, there aren't multiplatform ones, and in this mobile world that we live, THAT is a big NOPE. So that's PinballBox mission: to bring an easy-to-use editor and well simulated pinball game to a multiplatform enviroment, so you can design pinball while sitting on the toilet, if that's your thing.

So, get the game, or watch the video, and hey, say something!

    -------
THEY TOOK OUR PINBALL MACHINE! - The tshirt.

To develope games cost money, even if you do it yourself, because damn I need to eat too. So, in order to fund the first leg of this journey I came up with the idea of designing a tshirt, a pinball tshirt for pinball lovers.
Who here likes Medieval Madness?? yeah, me too.

So this is the deal, if I get to complete the goal of 50 tshirts I'll be able to work full time on PinballBox for over a month, what about that??
And even if you don't give a damn about these pesky virtual pinball videogames, it's a handsome tshirt isn't it?

I don't know what to say man, check it out https://teespring.com/they-took-our-pinball-machine
You have no idea how much I thank you!
