Quoted from HowardR:

Yes. If the Coin Unit StepUp solenoid keeps firing, what are the Coin relay and Credit relay doing?
[quoted image]

Credit relay does not pull in. Coin relay pulls in.
When the game is turned on and the score motor and stepper unit are running

I think I have a permanently closed coin switch here is my reasoning:

Coin chute 1 -> adjusted for 1 play -> One coin starts one game. -> if held switch closed manually or shorted it would start games endlessly... which it does.

Coin chute 1 -> adjusted for 2 plays -> One coin starts one game. -> if held switch closed manually or shorted it would add games endlessly to the credit reel ...which it does.

What are your thoughts?

Hey Mark,

I had an issue similar to yours where my Freedom would constantly reset. I can't remember right off the bat, I'll try to find my notes, but I think it had something to do with switches on one of the steppers on the bottom of the machine. I'll look into it later and see if I can't remember more.

I think that I found it. At some point of doing this the targets started resetting continuously though. I put business cards in both coin and credit relays. The game stopped adding players. I removed the cards until I found the culprit and modified it. It seems like the coin unit advancing issue is resolved. Working on drop targets now.

Good. What's up with the drop targets?

They just keep resetting. Each time they appear to be reset already.

Which one of these 3 relays is activating the Drop Target Reset solenoid?
