Beautiful game Dennis.....cabinet shape is awesome too!

#585 5 years ago

The side of the cabinet is stamped #5131.....could this be the serial number.
Is that some kind of extra coin lot located on the left front corner of the cabinet. could it be for some kind of hopper payout?
Are the posts metal, chrome or nickel?

I think the spelling bee will clean up nicely and look very good after putting some time into the game.

The Crosswords doesn't look like there are any large payouts. What is the most amount of replays a player can win in one game?

I would offer them another playfield to install in the table plus some cash for the Lady Luck playfield. Maybe they will go for that. Then they can sell the table with the newly install playfield in it. Maybe a nice looking woodrail 1950's bingo playfield would look awesome in their table or another less sought after playfield.

Its such a waste to see that nice condition Lady Luck playfield inserted into that table, when it belongs in a game shopped out and playing like a champ.

You have nothing to lose if you talk to them and try to somehow come up with a deal to get that playfield.

I wonder if the posts were painted silver from the factory. I noticed that the game Dennis has also has silver post.
Thanks for the pictures and information. Cool game for sure, but not sure how well it did on route with small payouts.

I couldn't live with myself if I ever go that "coffee table" route.

Joel....you just had to add that game to your collection. After playing your Springtime for quite sometime during my visit at your place and loving every minute of it, I can see why from the pictures of the Double Action that you just had to have it.

I too, haven't been doing good with not bring home anymore games and somehow have added 5 since the start of this year. Hopefully, I can avoid adding any other new machines in the future. Enjoy that beautiful condition Double Action! It looks magnificent.

Nice line up of woodrails.
I owned a nice Tim Buc Tu many years ago. It is a really fun player with the 10 ways to win on "SPECIAL WHEN LIT"!

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the Paris Pinball Museum. There I view and played so many wood rails and had a blast. The museum is made up of mostly wood rails, I would guest at least 75%.

I thought I would share the 18 videos I made of almost all the games close up and detailed of these totally restored machines.

Here below is a link to my YouTube page of video number one. You might have to search on my Vic Camp Pinball YouTube page to view the other 17 videos of this awesome museum.

I heard good things about Rapheal and would have liked to meet him and talk pinball with him. His son was there all day but really didn’t talk at all. Bruno was very nice and was willing to talk about the games in detail, but so busy with repairs on games that needed attention it actually was taking a toll on him towards the end of the day. I asked Bruno if I could help him out by making a detailed list of things that were not operating correctly as I went along playing the games in the museum and he said yes. He gave me a blank piece of paper and I wrote what I found. Below are some pictures my wife took so I thought I would posted them. Even though the Williams A Go Go is not obviously a wood rail, I threw in there because it’s one of my wife’s favorite games, which I once had in my collection, but sold a long time ago.
