Growing up in the 50's and 60's, we had pinball machines in the house, thanks to availability and guidance from my grandfather who was an operator. In the 60's I worked in an arcade where there were mostly games of that era (Kings and Queens, North Star, River Boat, etc.) but played plenty of woodrails and preflipper games over the years at the Jersey Shore and other venues. In the last 10 years, I traded out most of my EMs and solid state games in favor of the woodrails. And now that I am mostly woodrails, with a few favorite EMs, I still change up the line up once in awhile.
