When you power on the machine, the ball immediately kicks to the shooter lane?... When you first power on the machine, does the "tilt" light in the backglass turn on? During the start up process, when does the score motor stop? Does it stop before or after the score reels are reset to zero?

Try to look at one problem at a time... I'd look at the ball return solenoid circuit to see why the ball is being kicked to the shooter lane as soon as you power on the machine. Check the following switches in the ball return solenoid circuit to see if they are adjusted properly:

O relay switch - brown/red wire and blue/red wire
P relay switch - blue/red wire and orange/red wire
Score motor 4C - orange/red wire and brown/red wire
XB relay switch - brown/red wire and red/white wire

Also, check the switch stacks and wire lugs on these relays...
