I recently had the same problem on my Pool Sharks. Also a system 11 game. The kick out solenoid is part of the "special solenoids" circuit (yes that's what Bally called them haha). The pops, kickout holes, outlane kicker, and shooter lane solenoid were all controlled by a 24 VDC DPDT relay that burned up. It's a clear cube on the power driver board. Look to see if it's melted and or just making a clicking noise. Mine was visibly partially melted and just clicking trying to advance a ball in the trough.

It could be F-2 or F-4. OP should look to see if the coil has a red wire (F-2) or a red/white wire (F-4) on it.

The OP can rule out a P/F issue by briefly grounding the tab of Q-25. But I'm not sure he is ready for troubleshooting yet, you have a lot more experience then he does. He may need to do more reading first, but only he knows what he is ready for. If the OP would list his location there could be someone near him to help too.

Good info! Figured road kings might have been different than Pool Sharks. Pool Sharks was a system 11c.
