    1) Sideblade art is a start I would do the Chocolate river with the boat on one side, and the forest of treats on the other.

    2) It needs the elevator much like Houdini mod with the water chamber

    3) Not a fan of the metal box to the left of the gobstopper. I think what would be better is a sticker that goes over the plastic ramp, then a boat to slip over that metal box. Create the scene of the chocolate river.

    4) A mod to cover the area that holds the locked balls... I can think of many cool things that would involve adding a video like for example a video of bubbles and Charlie and his Grandpa floating, then have a mod that is a fan over the top of it. Maybe a balcony with Willy Wonka waving, or maybe even just a bubble in general that cover all that up.

    5) I'm not a fan of the plastic rails, I think there needs to be a decal to make them look like lollipops like the stripes of a lollipop.

    6) If you were to add characters maybe a golden goose, the girl as a blueberry, or props like suckers, etc from the movie that you just put up and around

    A working bubble machine.

All the Ideas above would be AMAZING!

    Pinblades especially!

Leg-mounted candy dish and/or mini-gumball machine. Even better would be a topper that drops candy down a ramp when you hit a wizard mode.

Just throwing random stuff out there

    #6 5 years ago

AND GOBSTOPPER pinballs - these are a must! They don't need to DO anything, just be in there and look cool ;P

    #7 5 years ago

Lickable wallpaper/cab art, the snozzberries taste like snozzberries!
Wonkatania or Wonkamobile that you could hit
Rotating gum making machine with targets/traps.
Goose that laid the golden balls!
As stated already get rid of the metal box/Wonka office
Need actual spinner that is candy cane or similar
    Second on the bubble machine
There are so many cool things you could mod this with

The first of our mods is ready and will be up on our website tomorrow. It’s an rgb trough and backboard combo. You can see how well it lights up the back area and trough. I have it on a fade pattern, but with a supplied remote, you can change and use many solid colors easily. You’ll notice my wonkavision is missing, long story. I will post more pics later today.

For those that have an LE or CE, I can confirm that our Wonkavator will fit if you don't want to block the view of the wonkavator lock mechanism. Our wonkavator will fit to the left of the Wonkavision. In the pic, the left one is the suggested install location for the SE to fill the empty area. The right one is suggested for the LE and CE if you don't want to block the wonkavator lock.

We are currently sold out, but I will have a handful the week of the 26th, a couple are spoken for so just a few will be available. These take quite a while to make.

Candy shroom field to cover the empty plastic along the left side. Covers those two front screws.

The big one on the right is to cover the spotlight, it's a separate mod, but we will bundle the field with the two light covers.

Should be up on our site and in our pinside shop shortly.

Does anyone have a good link to a lermods Wonkavator mod?
    The link onsite doesn't work

    #21 4 years ago

Yeah, the post formats the link weirdly. If you go down to Wonka mods on the list to the left, it is on there, though.

DrF, glad you like them, and thank you for the business. We added a candy mushroom field to cover all the plastic along the left side of the candy house.

Looking for feedback on some spotlights we made. They are 3d printed covers that house a 3 SMD light strip and mount to the slings where the ramp connects.

    What do you think?

How are the connected? Do the go off and on with the gi? If so which ones?

Still working on that. Thinking to tie to existing spotlights. Gi won’t work, too much strobing and color changing, the white light would be off most of the time. More curious if people like the look of the cover and the light it’s casting.

Suggestions ... put them on a dimmer in case we want to adjust the intensity, chocolate bar shape/color on top?

Just a suggestion as I think you are going the right way but suspect the execution is less then appealing. Having 2 misc plastic bars out in the open is less then appealing. Consider instead of the 3SMD strip using the 6 SMD square panel which would give more light and make the mount frame into a Wonka type candy bar mount. Would add a theme element and add value via the needed infield lighting. Plus they would not need to be as long and bar like. Hope that makes sense.

Thx for the suggestions, they are appreciated. Not sure about the 3x2 light bar as I'm not after flooding the playfield With light and washing it out. There's already a product for that. It could work with more light but for now I'm going to use the 3smd strips I have. I will be covering the black cover with something that matches the theme of the game...that's a good suggestion. I've got one for monster bash too I'm working on as that playfield is even darker.

I just spent an hour installing the wonkavator on the right ramp like the instructions say. Why would you send me instructions that give me the wrong location? Instructions are criminally bad. Don’t understand. I assume the wonkavator mod goes in front of the wonkavator. Correct?

    #33 4 years ago

bright white lights so you can actually see to play, ramp covers so balls don't fly off and hit oompa loompa or end up in back of game stuck in left corner.

    #34 4 years ago

Got it installed. Please fix those printed directions.

I am interested in adding the Pinball Interactive Wonkavator to our LE machine. Can anyone provide more photos or a video of one installed. I have reservations if having a plastic right behind it with the same Wonkavator image as the mod.

    #37 1 year ago

Thanks for posting that video, he does a good job showing the install. the motor noise was fixed. When we first started with these we were using 12v motors and some of them were loud like in the video. we now use 5v motors that don’t have issues like that. I think he notes that we replaced his motor for him and it resolved the issue, but it might have been in a follow up video.
