Quoted from jimwe5t:

Don’t know where you have come up with your assessment. Simply not true. From the get go, NIB purchasers have wanted a fully populated PF, just like Stern offers to resolve damaged PF’s. Where it ends is also simple. Make all NIB purchasers whole with a defect free fully populated PF. That is not asking too much for the $10,000.00 of hard earned money spent.

I canceled my JPLE order as this didn’t seem to have a remedy. Are you saying Stern is now offering populated Playfield swaps or playfields for pooling/chipping? Honestly asking as I would still like to get the game but Stern has been silent on the subject from what the distributor mentioned.

Quoted from jfh:

JJP isn’t going to announce the issue has been resolved because that would mean they have to acknowledge there is an issue.
Without information to presume otherwise you have to assume any Wonka ready to ship could have playfield pooling. Anyone buying a NIB game now should have seen enough concern here that there is a problem for some/many buyers and Stern and JJP would prefer customers ignore the problem rather than get out in front of it, publicly acknowledge the issue, take aggressive action to fix impacted games and, most importantly, address the root cause of the clear failures.

NOT saying this is a fix or a correct solution provided but Jack calling owners seemed to be an acknowledgment of the issue? Granted not a written recall letter but a good first step. Thats why I asked about Stern. I have not seen a single post or acknowledgment that they have jumped to action for anyone on Recent playfield pooling that I have seen posted but that would help me feel more confident in releasing my JP order.

Quoted from jfh:

If it’s not in writing, it’s not an acknowledgement of a systemic problem and can always be explained as a “one off”.
I agree it’s a first step, but you don’t get anywhere with just one step (Moon landings excepted. And I agree with you about Stern).

Moon landings? So you think we were Actually on the moon now??? lol

ONLY BECAUSE YOU ASK - I don't want to get off topic on this page - but Yes - They are harmful and can clog the ports under the rim as well. NEVER USE THEM!!!!!

Well.... as there really is nothing new to share or talk about regarding WWCE some off topic curiosity. In your years of plumbing business have you ever run into a repair job that you walked out saying “oh hell No”! Lol. I’d imagine you’ve seen some crazy ass literal Sh1t. Lol
