Quoted from Lermods:I thought I saw somewhere that Mirco wasn’t a supplier to stern. Can anyone confirm this?
If you believe him, then no he does not supply them...

Quoted from cooked71:If they’re not already, JJP should be listening when a customer like richiewrench cancels his CE order.
Not it there is a waiting list of people who would buy it in an instant if Richie passes
Quoted from PinBuck:Since you have some inside info from JJP, can you tell us if they will ever address the Dialed In patch issues on the early machines and why they decided to upgrade the processor and increase the memory mid production, effectively screwing all the early buyers of Dialed In? It's awesome that a good number of Dialed In owners are stuck on 1.57 and haven't been able to apply patches 1.60, 1.61 and 1.71 because our hardware cannot support it. Anyone buying a NIB JJP machine should be aware that they have done this and could do it again in the future. Terrible business practice if you ask me.
Wait.......what!?!
Quoted from cooked71:Seriously? There’s a waiting list for Wonka CE’s? No one even knows what the CE is yet. Hard to believe, but then again nothing surprises me in this hobby.
I didnt mean to indicate that there was a waiting list...I dont think there is, but there are a lot of wealthy people in this hobby, so who knows...
Quoted from ronaldvg:The DMD was just an example which makes my point seeing how long it took for Stern to eventually go to the LCD screen
I like DMD better than LCD...
Quoted from Adipocere:“Some people think cucumbers taste better pickled!”
Im one of them...cucumbers suck and make everything in my salad taste like cucumber...
Quoted from bigd1979:Also people that are saying bring back dp have no idea as there are/were plenty of issues with them as well.
Well, I said it. And I am very well versed on the problems with DP....and I would still prefer it over this soupy clear...
Quoted from PantherCityPins:I’m curious to know why people haven’t noticed this issue on Mirco reproduction playfields before.
I just completed a swap with a Mirco this week.I purchased the playfield in March 2018 and did not start populating it until about 60 days ago. The first thing I did was put one post on in a hidden location and slightly overtighten it. The clear underneath the test post remained stable and no rippling or displacement was noted. The restoration is not complete so I have not played any games on it, but so far everything looks rock solid.
Something must have been changed....
Quoted from RobertWinter:. I mean really, our people work hard every day with passion to design and create amazing games for you to play. As we always have, we will stand by our product and support our loyal customers and I can tell you that'll never change.
Quoted from pipes:And there you have it.
Quoted from Zitt:I wonder out loud if drilling the clear will lead to ripping and tearing of the soft clear
Not if a proper (forstner) bit is used, it will cleanly cut through even soft clear, then seal the edge with CA glue.. The problem is that a forstner bit requires a very small guide hole, the holes in the playfields under the posts are too large of a diameter. The bit would wobble and wander, the results would be ugly.
This could be done at the factory, but not for the end user.
Quoted from Ballypinball:This looks like a similar problem, proven artwork produced 1,000s of times nothing changed in production but this one fitted by an idiot
not prepped the surface correctly either used solvent based sealer or didn't allow enough time to degass before fitting decals
after fitting looked great, then after days and weeks a reaction[quoted image][quoted image]
What does this have to do with WW clear coat?
Did that happen to one game or hundreds?
Quoted from wesman:then hoping installation of every single part is safely done by line workers that might be seasonal, on a game they'd have to be retrained on
You dont trust the same people who would build your replacement game to swap your mechs to a new playfield?
