If they could do a Wonder Woman pinball machine it might be my first NIB.
It is crushing it at the box office right now and doing incredibly well worldwide.

I have no idea if it would get snapped up as a theme before monster hits like GotG and Jurassic World, but seems like an excellent choice eventually. It would also bring more DC Universe assets in to the pinball world.

Back in the Atari Pinball era, they actually did a prototype backglass for a Wonder Woman pin. From the Art Of Atari book...

why did DC heroes keep getting trapped inside diabolical pinball machines?

slingshots would have to be the bullet-deflecting her bracelets, no? Would make for a good sound cue.

    Quoted from dothedoo:

Since WW is already used for Whirlwind, would W♀ be the new acronym for Wonder Woman?

I would prefer to make lots of room for drawn art, instead of cut and paste photos. The only problem is figuring out which looks and costumes to go with.

That first one I would hang on my wall.

I like the 2nd one. The first one just looks like generic Rob Liefeld.

If you look at some super positive reviews of the new Wonder Woman film you'll almost always find veiled the reviewer's childhood sexual awakening embedded within it. (some very much NOT veiled)
And if you look at the very negative Wonder Woman reviews, all of them hint at said childhood boner being ruined due to whatever aspect of the depiction not being quite right for them.
We get it. Many of you have feelings.

Just keep it in your pants, recognize that the franchise has grown in to something more for generations of women, and we are on the cusp of a high quality viable franchise that will make an excellent pinball theme.
Best of all worlds. You get your slyly referenced childhood fantasies, young women get a role model presented to them now by women creators, and everyone maybe gets an excellent game.

    Quoted from NimblePin:

    That would be awesome Trilogy!
Get all the Bally/WMS/DE/Stern girls out of retirement to help with the project!

Pam Erickson or Margaret Hudson on art.
Suzanne Ciani on music accompanied by Stephanie Rogers and Glo Van Vlack reprising their sweet BK2K angelic chorus for WW's theme song instead!
    Zofia Bil (Ryan) on toys/mechs.
    Kristina Donofrio on code.

Now all that is missing is some fresh blood for the PF layout/design.
Maybe Jeri Ellsworth or Molly Atkinson would like to take a stab at it?

    GODDAMN that'd be amazing

go go go go see the movie in the theatres. It is a quintessential popcorn flick.

    Ares bash toy
    Lasso scoop
    bracelet slings
    fisticuffs pops
    slow-mo ramps
    Training loops
so many modes: plane rescue, beach raid, alley mugging, no man's land, town rescue, Ludenhoff meth binge, Ares battle, etc

    Quoted from MarkInc:

Rumour has it Wonder Woman pinball coming to Allentown pinfest in 2 weeks.

uhhhh what? Where did you here that rumour? I haven't heard that as a possible title from any company.

    Quoted from tbanthony:

Will there be a Wonder Woman pinball machine in 2020 coinciding with the 2nd movie? First movie was top notch. I'd be enthused to see a Pin based on both.
Word is there will be a Black Widow movie in the future as well. I'd enjoy seeing another DC or Marvel title back in the mix, but I think it's time for a bit of girl power. The eye candy isn't bad either -- especially in the context of some kick butt action.

    Yeah you'd think it'd be a bit of a win-win situation, right?

It's a friend's re-themed pin coming all the way from London, Ontario.

sweet! Can't wait for pics to get posted.

Looks like another one of my dream themes may not happen.

Maybe it just means Franchi won't be involved.

    Quoted from Blackbeard:

I vote we turn this into a Linda Carter appreciation thread.

as much as I respect your teenage boners, can we please keep this thread about cheering for a Wonder Woman pinball machine?

    Quoted from Blackbeard:

So my pic of Linda Carter is not allowed on Pinside and moderated
