Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh have collaborated with Barcadia and Starport Arcade and Pub to bring to life The Great Rock and Roll Pinball Challenge to benefit the Women Who Rock Charity!

Stop out to the Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh on March 3-5th to support this great cause. All donations will go to the Women Who Rock Charity, they will be passing these donations to Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh. $20 buys you all the plays you can handle for the day.

10 games are on stage for your enjoyment. They are:

Metallica Pro
Rush Pro
Alice Cooper Nightmare Castle
The Beatles Pro
Led Zeppelin Pro
Guns and Roses Standard
Kiss Pro
Iron Maiden Pro
Aerosmith Pro
Captian Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy

Prizes and giveaways will be going on throughout the event. Top scores on each machine are awarded some pretty cool prizes. Pics to come!

Hope to see you there!

230 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

Thanks for all the support to the Pittsburgh Pinball Community and our surrounding pinhead!

Cheers!

Lead singer of Rush sounds like a woman.

The drummer is a cool mf. He fired up one of the biggest joints I've ever seen.

Got to meet her after a show one time, she was really sweet. Surprisingly short too, coming from someone who's not at all tall.

I always preferred Nancy...

Quoted from RyanStl:

Lead singer of Rush sounds like a woman.

I always heard his voice described as a "screaming banshee."

You wanna know who really sounds like a woman? The guy in Greta Van Fleet. But they won't warrant a pin before their fans reach at least middle age.

Best wishes for the charity event!

Good luck with the event. Having a music themed pinball line up seems quite fitting for the event and location.

As for my favorite woman that rocks...it's Priya Panda of Diemonds. A rocker, pinball lover and a very nice person.

Probably because he was like 12 yrs old when their first album came out

Thanks everyone for your responses. This has been awesome so far. Seeing some of our women staff interact and network with other women in the area who are business owners or doing charity work to advance Women Who Rock was eye opening. I now know more than ever that we could really use a Women on a modern pinball machine.

Also want to point out, although not a rock Pin, Gerry from Multimorphics first game was Lexy Lightspeed, which featured a main character that was female. Shout out to them for breaking that barrier!

Ann has the vocal power that is unmatched by most others.

But I know what you are talking about.

Pat Benatar had some pretty rockin' hits.

And don't forget Liz Phair.

#38 1 year ago

Really good 1st album. She was only 14 years old when it was recorded. She doesn't sound like a 14 year old.

Her other albums aren't so great.

I posted this in the Pinside Vinyl thread a while back. It should fit in here, too. Some 80s rocker chicks...
