Thanks for coming out with the 7 digit displays. I was looking forward for them. I built a couple of the 6 digit display kits and was very impressed.

I looked over the assembly instructions and have a few questions:

What is the purpose of the PC board spacer behind the LED’s? The 6 digit displays didn’t have this spacer. Is that just to move the LED’s closer to the backglass? Are the 7 digit LED’s thinner than the 6 digit LED’s? Couldn't you just install the LED's with a temporary spacer and remove it once soldered in?

My Flight 2000 doesn’t have commas (I don’t think Stern games used them). Could the commas just be eliminated?

If I omit the commas can the LED’s be moved closer together to eliminate the space where the commas were?

I thought the color match for the 6 digit displays were spot-on for my Trident. Couldn’t you just use the same LED’s in the 7 digit displays?
