The Red Wolves released in Pungo National Wildlife Refuge in NC are now breeding with Coyotes.
Your picture is a Wolf, too far North for the Red or Hybrid version showing up here.
Now I'm having flashbacks from my Ring Video door app. The ONLY thing people post are coyote video captures 24/7 lol
Too far North for a Chupacabra.
I'm going with Coyote. They are in full coat this time of year and often look way bigger than they are.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Looks like all the coyotes around here. The wolves I’ve seen are all noticeably larger than other canines.
