I’ve had the exact same issue with my Space Mission for over a year. Nothing obstructing and have cleaned and checked all the switches that could be involved I think.
For reference, mine kicks the ball over to the shooter lane 7 out of 8 times but not with much force. The 1 time it doesn’t make it, it may take the kicker 2-3 times before it gets over the hump.

Thanks bud. I’ll give that a look. I also should have mentioned that it is much better since I cleaned the switches, just not 100%, so your suggestion makes a lot of sense.
And like all my EMs, they function better now in general because I play the he’ll out of them, unlike before I got them.
Sounds like the OP’s kickout to the lane is weaker than mine was but hopefully it will get figured out.
