The EOS switch causes the bumper relay to release, completing the pop bumper sequence. You’d have to observe the bumper when it is stuck. Does the EOS switch open when the ring and rod assembly plunges down? Does the spoon switch re-engage? The latter happened to me, even though EOS was open the spoon switch re-triggered the relay. I had forgotten the washers on top of the yoke.
